If you had one "do over" back when you were in college, what would it be? I think I might join a sorority if I had to do it all over again, not sure.

Honestly I probably would have gone to culinary school instead.

I would have studied abroad. I was too worried about what I would miss at college while I was gone.

Ooh, I need more than one! I would pick classes based on my interest instead of times they met. I would study abroad, too. I would NOT spend 3/4 of the time in a doomed relationship.

Just to name a few.

I wouldn't have listened to my roommate and dropped Design 101 (even though I was on course for a poor grade).  It's a bad way to start off, dropping classes.

I wouldn't have slacked off so much my 2nd semester, failed too many classes and then lost my financial aid and had to sit out for the next semester.

Live on campus and do more social activities.  By social activities, I mean party.

I would have tried study abroad earlier. I got accepted to go to England as part of PU's program, but gave it up because I was in the thick of planning our wedding. On the flip side--he gave up studying abroad in Australia, since it was the semester after we started dating. Looks like we both made the right decision...I just wish I'd though of going abroad sooner!

I would have gotten married earlier to take advantage of college financial aid. We married in May, but because the FAFSA was due in March they count you as single for the entire year afterward financially, even if you are married (they wouldn't let me ammend - it was very frustrating). So, would have gotten married in February or something, so that the next year we could have been considered married by the financial aid office. It sucked for him too, we were both students at the time and only living on $750 a month between us (which had to pay for tuition, car, rent, food, books, birth control, doctor (neither of us had insurance, because you can't be on your parent's insurance when you are married!) etc.). Shoot, we may have gotten married a couple of years before that and I wouldn't have had to go to Jr. college at all - I did it as a way to save money. Our families (although we were happy for the little help we did get) did NOT give us the "estimated family contribution" that the federal goverment thinks they help out with when they look at the parental income, taxes, etc... which really wasn't very nice. They don't consider you independent until you are 23 or married.

I would have NOT joined a sorority.  I really enjoyed living in an apartment better than when I lived in the sorority.

Michelle, that is exactly why we got married in March!  I remember that very well.  We'd planned to get married in July, told everybody a date and everything.  When we abruptly changed it, my relatives all assumed I was pregnant!  LOL
